Great finish and some pass for Odsonne, I wonder how much he would be worth in China? ;)

What about his little lay off before Callum had a shot? Brilliant stuff.

If we had been quoted 7 or 8 million for Dembele there's hardly anyone here that would have jumped on that deal with all the usual stuff we see on this thread as justification.

Apparently we already agreed on a price for Edouard, that price is, again apparently, 7 million quid.

I think we do well out of that deal. He's too young for any big money clubs to snap him up so his next move will most likely be where he makes his name.

I'd like that to be us.

Getting on a bit

Had his ups and downs since that injury in the Scottish Cup SF last year, but was immense yesterday, an awesome showing. His goal wasn't quite as picturesque as the last one he scored at Ibrox but it was a great pass and he finished it well, holding off his man then dinking it over the keeper. Came at a crucial time also.

We'll know on Thursday when Deschamps gives the list for the friendlies. He was in the previous extended list.

Do you reckon it is likely?

Unlikely, but not impossible. Lacazette injured and Giroud not playing much gives him a chance. Deschamps likes having two centre-forwards among the six forwards in his squad. In the past, he sticked with Giroud despite his erratic form, and even called Gignac up again despite their poor relationships. But Ben Yedder is back in contention, there might be a U turn on Benzema, and Deschamps has hinted he could also count on Griezmann in that position, already tested in a friendly. The injury of Fekir as well as the poor seasons of Martial and the other Dembélé could also limit the temptation of Giroud only.

These issues were debated on L'Équipe TV last night. No mention of Moussa, as expected, but his inclusion in Deschamps extended list show he's in somewhere in the manager's plans, which is all what matters. My own source close to Deschamps confirmed that.
