Sounds as if he's for the off, I'd deal at 18m.

Wouldn't consider it for that. If we can't get better than that this window then keep him here, play him and get a run of form out of him similar to last year in order to get the price up in the summer.

This thread is like the huns statement about McInnes. Folk trying not to be bothered that hes going. Its mental.

He's the best player this country has seen in 14 years.
Fans would rather watch a more limited player busting a gut than a sulky tosser who thinks hes better then he is

Disappointed if he wants to move on.
Seemed that he had his head screwed on, stay here for a couple of years, prove himself and get a big move.
Not even sure that it's in his best interest to move this window.

If there's a genuine prospect of it earning him a place at the World cup it's understandable. (assuming going in Summer anyway).

He could easily make a very bad move for his long term though. As long as we get decent dough and a sell-on, move on and wish him well.

Getting on a bit
[ * * * * * * * * * * ]
These days, it’s impossible to feel attached to any player.

If he doesn’t want to be there, fine, move on. However, I’m not sure there will be a massive queue considering he’s done next to nothing for several months.

His best bet is to get his finger out, have a great 2nd half of the season & get himself a better move in the summer.

Chris Davies seems to believe that Moussa could be off and that Leigh Griffiths is a very important player for us.
So, possibly, Moussa out and Leigh to stay?

'feels it's right to move' Celtic No2 Chris Davies reveals Moussa Dembele wants to quit with Everton, Stoke City, Brighton and Crystal Palace eyeing a move
Dembele was left on the bench for Celtic's 5-0 win against Brechin with Brendan Rodgers saying the striker has been affected with talk of a transfer

KT

Agree with your overall point though, especially with someone as good as Moussa, 2 year cycle and off they go for a big profit. It was brilliant watching a player of that quality in hoops.

On this season's form he's worth nothing like the expert's valuation, whatever that is.

totally agree

this season has been meh

no doubt there is a huge potential there but he is far from the finished article

if he genuinely wants to leave then let him go

assuming we actually get an acceptable bid from someone.

He's got the best goals to game ratio at the club whilst only playing in big games and being injured for the majority of the season.

I think if anything this season will tell clubs that if he can keep himself fit he's absolutely class.

Arsene is taking the piss out of people putting arbitrary valuations on Moussa and arguing he's worth/not worth whatever based on form or previous performances.

He's worth what a club will pay for him. He'll go with my best wishes.

His goals to games ratio is 0.57, Griffiths is 0.56 over their times at Celtic.

He's at 0.38 goals a game this season, Sinclair's at 0.44

He doesn't only play big games. This season hasn't said much about him tbh.

A 10,000-15,000 jump in the attendance since Brendan came in would suggest otherwise.

Jam back on.

If this had been his first season with us we'd probably been shouting about punting him for next to nothing. He's not really done much of note this season and so far living on the glories of last season. Hard to tell what kind of player he is at the moment given his limited game time and injuries. Certainly showed he has the potential to be top drawer but i think he has to be very careful about the club he goes to. With his injury record this season he could be consigned to the bench more often than not and become the 2nd or 3rd striker. He needs game time like all players to push on and improve. If it was purely for football reasons he should really stay here for another season and another crack at CL get fit and then move but that's not how it works these days.
