If we keep taking gubbings in Europe the way we have, we'll have a harder time convincing anyone to pay top money for our talent.

This season Moussas case has taken a bit of a dent due to injuries, his form and our overall form.
If he gets a move this window it's almost exclusively based on what he did last season. If not, he has a few months to get his and our profile up a few notches headed into the summer.
I thought he'd have the common sense to keep his head down and do just that, ensuring the best possible options for him at the end of the season. Apparently not though, it would appear he'd rather pull a Mark Viduka when he's not even in the same league and is now being linked with relegation cannon fodder down south.
talk pish.
it seems its more like Moussa himself that doesn't want to go to relegation fodder down south but the club do.

some of the fans attitude towards Dembele is absolutely bizarre. choking to sell the biggest talent we've had at the club in years.
oh and i see that cretin Forrest has took time out from constantly writing about Rangers on a site called the celticblog to talk shampooe about Dembele.
Sorry but if you can't read between the lines that Moussa is ready to go then you aren't watching the same movie as the rest of us.

BR saying what he did yesterday isn't a manager who knows his prize asset wants to stay.

No fan should have any hard feelings against Moussa but I don't doubt he sees his time up with us, and the club seem to do the same.

whenever he goes, he'll go with my well wishes but its clear he doesn't want to go to a mob like Brighton as suggested.
if he did its most likely he would have been sold.

This thread is like the huns statement about McInnes. Folk trying not to be bothered that hes going. Its mental.

He's the best player this country has seen in 14 years.

Dembele may become world class but he’s been inconsistent most of time he’s been here. I don’t want him to go but saying he’s been better for Celtic than Naka, VVD, or Wanyama is mental

Van dijk, Nakamura, Petrov, Both Keane's?

I don't think he's even better than Sutton was. Maybe he will be but not yet.

At best he´ll be here for next seasons CL qualifiers, though I doubt it, I´d rather see more of Edouard so the club can decide if he´s worth it or not. I´d still be confident of another treble with Griffiths and Edouard. At this stage of the window it´s unlikely we´d be able to spend the Dembele money, so I´m not fussed tbh, as good as he is if a big offer comes in we´d have to take it.

He's nowhere near the standard of young Sutton never mind Sutton during MON's tenure.
You are talking about a guy who broke the British transfer record at 21 and a few years later became the 3rd most expensive transfer between British clubs.

I'd agree with the other players mentioned too.

A young Sutton would walk into our team at Centre Back.

He's not better than 2000 Sutton, but better than 2005 Sutton. He will end up better than all of those you have mentioned.

He probably wont end up better than Van Dijk has but he's probably had a bigger impact in Europe for us than Van Dijk did.

Petrov and Nakamura... best teams they played for was Celtic. Dembele will go higher.

A few people on twitter suggesting Newcastle are willing to pay £20m for Moussa.

Annoyingly I think we'd accept it.

£20m? You could run just about all the teams in Scotland for a year with that kind of money.

That would break Newcastle’s record fee...which is over ten years old despite the madness down there :ph43r:

I just hope to eff the know who's replacing him, wether it's now or early in the next window.

We're not going to qualify for next season's CL with Griffiths as our only striker.
