We've already seen this season how difficult it is to replace Dembele and how much we lose from not having a fit/on form Dembele. At least we've had a hope he'd come back in.

We'll really struggle to replace him with a player even approaching his level. It would be good if we could get a driven and committed Dembele for the rest of the season. It would probably work to everyone's advantage.

Will be devastated when he leaves.

We won’t even try and replace him, that’s the most sickening thing.

Well we’ve always known it would happen so the club will,of course, have a replacement lined up as Griffiths has injury problems & Edoard is nowhere near ready. We’re surely not considering banking all of this fee as well.
Gonna be some profit in June’s accounts this year.

Oh, allow him to wallow in his perpetual self pity for a while longer.

Doesn't make sense to me.

BR thinks he's unsettled due to speculation.
The only speculation has really been re Brighton.
He doesn't want to go to Brighton.
So why would that have unsettled him?

Oh and Celtic are actively trying to sell him. Aye, that'll bring in the big bucks.

As much as I don’t want Moussa to go, we all know it’s inevitable. Normally, I’d be bereft but I think Edouard is a real prospect and wouldn’t be adverse to seeing him have an extended run.

If we sell Moussa for big money and Edouard starts doing the business then we’ve a deal in place for 7/8m.

We’ve still got Griffiths as a back up and we can add another in the summer.

Unless there are no clubs willing to spend 25m on him.

Does it really matter how much we get for him? £2m will be available for his replacement regardless.

Remember Islam Feruz?
This is what makes Tierney so special.

I absolutely would be adverse to that.

Apart from a cracking game against Motherwell he’s done nothing to suggest he’s up to it. Nowhere near the level of Dembele imo.

Rodgers comments are a bit unfair to be honest. I think he's just given the boo-bhoys and the media a stick to beat Dembele with... as if they needed it.

I think he'll be gone by the end of the window. :Bye:

He’s only 19. He’s got all the attributes we need for a lone striker. He just needs games to settle and develop.

He’s still settling in and needs a consistent run in the team to show what he can do. All I’m saying is we’re not up shampoo creek if Dembele does get sold.

I think Edouard can be the real deal.

He's a year younger than Dembele.

Dembele is streets ahead of Edouard.

I think that's unfair. A year and a half ago where was Moussa?
