Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
£18m for a player who hasn't played well for a year & doesn't want to be here isn't an acceptable price to you?
It probably is but there's folk on here who genuinely think PSG will be signing Dembele to replace Cavani.
When selling something you don't ask for what you think is a fair or acceptable price. You ask for as much as you think you can get.

I don't know of any fan on here that thinks Dembele will go to PSG to replace Cavani. I do know of a lot who undervalue our players for whatever reason. Don't know if these fans can't keep up with how fast the market price of players is moving or if they are bitter that these players are leaving or if it is because they prefer another player and can't understand why their values are so different. What these fans aren't being is realistic. We had the same "realistic" appraisals of McGeady, Wanyama, Forster and Van Dijk before they left and this type of thinking was wrong on those occasions as well.

We got £24m for VvD. However it's structured, we should be getting much more than that for Dembele. He's got a better international record in a better setup, he's a striker, and he's looked far more comfortable at CL level than VvD did.

Apples and oranges I know, but the £18m mentioned would be an absolute steal.

Stoke apparently wanting moussa now oh the bright lights of stoke if that's the level of clubs looking to sign him he'd be as well getting his head down and staying here for another few years.

Brighton can't even sell out their stadium on a public holiday and yet can still talk about spending £20m on our top striker.

Missed his pre season and hasn’t been able to catch up. If he’s still here I’d be hopeful he’s back to normal in the second half of the season

If Dembele was guilty of anything yesterday it was of trying too hard. He kept dropping further and further into midfield positions to look for the ball.

He worked hard yesterday, just not efficiently.
He failed to control anything that came his way. Remember, he was up against Wilson who is shampooe and that ginger haired lad who let's be honest, had anyone ever actually heard of him. I was rubbing my hands when Alves went off but we simply didn't take advantage of it.
He failed to control anything that came his way :lmao:

I swear people watch different games from me.

Mentioned in the Midweek match thread. Jordon Ibe went to Bournemouth for £15m.

0 goals in 50 games.

Moussa will count as English trained for league squad, CL, etc. If he's going down there, that should fire an extra 5-10m onto his price.

Pedro will rinse the eff out of whoever we end up selling to anyway, so I'm not worried. Sure he got the guts of £4m for Kenny Miller ffs.

An article about Celtic?

Our form didn't dip in December 2016, we won 8 of 9 games, with a draw away to Man City. We were superb.

Another way of looking at it would be if that's the level of clubs currently interested then his stint at Celtic clearly isn't working out to be the shop window he hoped for and he'd be as well trying his luck with a p!sh EPL side :ph43r:

I think it's a matter of when, not if, Dembele goes. I'd hate to see him go to some mid-table English mob though and certainly not for a penny less than our board value him at.

No idea whether he wants to be here or not. He's been below-par in recent months but here's hoping he can kick in on in the second half of the season. Given the money that gets thrown around down south, getting back to goal-scoring form will ensure he goes for a tidy sum as and when the time comes.

Would you rather he went to a mid level EPL team for a fortune
Or to a big club for less?
