If Dembele was guilty of anything yesterday it was of trying too hard. He kept dropping further and further into midfield positions to look for the ball.

He worked hard yesterday, just not efficiently.
He also got up above the Hun CB to get a header on goal that nearly went in and challenged in the box and managed to get a shot off in the first half.

The talk that he was bullied is being greatly exaggerated. I dont know what games people watch sometimes. :comp:

wouldnt surprise me if he ends up at brighton in the coming days.
If he goes to Brighton there’s every chance he will be playing in the Championship again next season. So he’ll be pretty much back playing at the same level he was prior to joining us, essentially going backwards. He’s not had a great season but he’s to good for Brighton.

I don't think he was bullied but i think he was badly starved of service second half and so decided he couldn't be bothered. Was OK first half i thought.

We must have been watching a different game...he looked utterly disinterested not for the first time recently...and for the record i think he has s avery good player.

Didn’t have his best game but he did try.Last season both Demele and Griffiths were on fire now both are below par.The break has come at a good time for us.We’re not playing great yet we’re still strolling the league so that’s not too bad for fans like me who remember the ‘90’s.

Been saying to folks for a while to snap the hand off any club offering north of 15m.
He's one injury away from being worthless (as is any player) and his performances if they were to continue as of late, will only see his value drop.
Not the player some people think he is and his 'ego has landed' pish yesterday was cringeworthy.
Decent player, decent prospect but has let last season's Madrid chat get to his head.

Nothing short of an embarrassing performance yesterday, didn't give an eff. He had 6 good months between August-February last season, been average for the most part since. £18m is more than a fair price if we can get it.
Thank eff you aren't in a position to make any kinda decision on transfers at the club
£18m for a player who hasn't played well for a year & doesn't want to be here isn't an acceptable price to you?

He allowed himself to get bullied by Danny Wilson.

Dembeles application was worse than Sinclair's yesterday
Except that didn't happen.

Your wrong

It looks like his head is being turned with other offers - I would take the money, only with the caveat it all gets reinvested into our squad.

He was definitely trying too hard when he wasn't running back to get onside, or running the channels to provide an outball for our defenders. Aye.

Trying to hard? Nope.

Looked yet again ke a guy who's not interested. He's just too lazy at times.

Had the look of a farewell as he wandered off.

Don't think he's make it as big as everyone thought last year. Especially if he goes to Brighton.

Exactly.

Look the guy was awesome last season and i appreciate his injury problems but his lack of effort yesterday was shocking and by the way not the first time ...last few games his work ethic has been poor.

Time to bolt Moussa...its been real

Get as much as we can. and TTFN

It probably is but there's folk on here who genuinely think PSG will be signing Dembele to replace Cavani.

We'll miss him when he goes.
Agree with that.

People wanting Sinclair & Moussa sold will be crying when we try and fail to bring in players of similar quality to replace them.

Moussa, is not far off a fantastic French team. He has been coming back from injury and he has not had a chance to get up to speed.

I hope we can keep him till next January. Let him get his fitness back and hit real form. He is the best striker we have had in a long time.

If he stays, he should play every week. As mentioned elsewhere, we need to pick a number 9 and stick with it, whichever one of the three it is. Right now none of the three of them are playing well, so I'd go with Dembele by default.
