Had the full crazy eyes going before crossing for Tierney's goal. You know he's on form when that face comes out.

You almost forget just how good he is when he's out. Colossal.

I like Griffiths a lot, but Dembele's pace and power makes such a big difference to the team. When he's fit he should always be first choice.

Also, a lot's been said (and rightly so) about Tierney's run and cross for his first last night, but Moussa's finish was excellent as well.

He's a bully, knocks defenders about, out paces them and out thinks them. Griffiths is an excellent striker domestically but Dembele is potentially world class. If we have to hit long balls to him they stick and he can hold up play or skin his marker. He lead the line superbly.

Pretty much my thinking.

I love Griff and his all round game is excellent but Moussa is a better player.

Griff has been off the boil a wee bit recently. Moussa to start for foreseeable.

His presence back in the team gives us a totally different dimension going forward, The fact he looks like hes starting to hit peak form now must be a frightening prospect for other teams. Unleash him next Tuesday against Bayern

Aye, he's got to play. We're simply a better side with him in it.

The boy is an absolute UNIT, I feel he looks a lot stronger than he did this time last year.

Rest him on Saturday and have him ready to terrorise Hummels and Boateng.

eff that, he's hardly played in the past three months and he's just getting back into his stride; he plays unless injured or knackered, and he's neither.

FFS he's only started about 4 games this season. He needs match time, not a rest.

Really good to see him showing his true form again - hopefully injury issues are behind him now and he can maintain form for the rest of the season

I know what you're saying, but he's one 'agricultural' challenge away from another spell on the sidelines. I shat it a few times last night, especially that one from McKenna, the dirty carrot.

I just want him to be in vs Bayern.

The worst challenge I've seen on any of our players this season was by Thomas Muller on Scott Brown.

You can't wrap guys up in cotton wool domestically. They have to be wise enough to ride most of the bad ones, then pop up 30 seconds later with a goal. That's the best response of them all.

Not according to Eck - he was insistent on his ‘if yir Auntie had baws, she’d be yir Uncle’ argument when he claimed Dembélé had mis-hit the second goal and if he had been a few feet further out he would have put it past the post.

Absolutely no credit was given to Moussa adjusting his body position in the air when he was in danger of over-running the cross from Tierney. That adjustment allowed him to shin it into the net. And you wonder why this clown can’t get a managerial gig? :ponder:

Great display. Just a powerhouse with his pace and strength. He also gives us a lot more in defending set plays and corners and at times he was dropping back to win the ball then immediately moving forward with pace - defence to attack in split seconds.

The others also know that most times the ball will stick to him so, once it comes to him, there'll be supporting midfielders on the scene whereas with LG the support doesn't always come as he's likely to shoot or try to dribble. Just a small thing that makes a big difference in a game.
