Dembele, Armstrong and Paddy going would be utterly depressing.

That would be us losing 60+ goals from last season. Brendan's good, but how the feck would he replace that?

Quite odd that the only club that doesn't have a massively inflated transfer fee quoted by Sky, is us...

I'm not advocating selling Dembele and Armstrong but there are plenty clubs around Europe who routinely sell their best players every summer - Ajax, Porto, Monaco, even Southampton to a degree - and keep the success going by reinvesting the money on top prospects and starting the process again. It's not an exact science of course, some of those clubs have struggled at times, but generally speaking they are selling clubs who continue to thrive. One big advantage they have over us is a successful youth system constantly churning out first team-ready players. But it can be done.

Discussions with Marseille breaking on SSN. Rodgers quoted as saying nothing will happen until the last CL qualifier. Sky going with a 20m fee. Assuming an extra ten on top for an EPL team.
Rodgers is not quoted, sky understands is what was said and that is clap trap, quiet morning in the EPL transfer world oh let's make up a story elsewhere

Be interesting to see how he gets on at Marseille playing with one leg coz that's all £20M would get.

Sky know nothing about nothing.

Depressing that people still quote their nonsense as if it means something.

Would we make more if we divided him into body parts?

£30m or £20m with 25% sell on

If he has one good season at Marseille he could easily go for £60m+

If Moussa goes to a club like Marseille the sell on fee is just as important as the cash in the hand

Unless he has a clause in his contract that a certain bid triggers there is no way we would sell for 20m and Marseille would not pay that for him so file under pish.

Another season and good display in the champions league and he will move to PSG or a top EPL side for around £35m with a sell on clause hopefully, like has been said already we couldn't lose Dembele Armstrong and Roberts (roberts needs replacing, forrest isnt the answer with his injuries) and hope to replace them with as good, it would only leave Griffiths upfront as well.....Brendan and the club need to play it right or we could end up struggling a bit.

OM have some money now with new owners. Remember they paid big money for Payet so they will spend if they have too.

Anyone else heard any whispers that he pulled up in training over the weekend and is a doubt for Wednesday?

No striker Wednesday night if true.

My mistake. On the yellow ticker earlier I've misread what they wrote.

Can't see him going to any French team bar PSG and they seem to have bigger fish to fry.
