Quoting limited to 3 levels deepHe said: There is a reason why he didn`t end up in a big club in a big league. If he is SUCH A BIG talent why did no one else sign when he was out of contract? Wouldn`t cost Tottenham more than 1 weeks wage for a average player in their team to sign him
So because my mate dont like a player we signed i made him up. Thanks for that one. Some fans prefer players who give 100% for the club. If it was us selling him i would also felt he aint a loss when he dont score for 13 games because he wants to play somewhere else.

If you`ll excuse me, im gonna go take a shower with my imaginary friend ;)
I don't think you understand football.
I think it's the jilted Fulham fan who is real and the Celtic fan who is imaginary.

First off - Fletcher is done.

Secondly - he had offers on the table from Premiership clubs so I'm not sure why most of your initial post is claiming otherwise.
Yes he had offers from Premier League clubs to be a backup player. No one wanted to promise him first team football and that is why he came here.
I was just hoping for more with BR in charge. 15 goals in 43 matches in the championship and a raw talent is not what i wanted but the taste is like the ass you know.

I want to see us in the Champions League and dont think a club with our low budget should focus on talent anymore. We sell all the good ones and those who dont break though becomes first team players. It is destroying our club imo.

But then again it is just my opinion, no need for people to be rude. I have been positive towards most signings we have done besides Cole, Ciftci and CKR.. Sometimes im right and sometimes im wrong..
Indeed. Down with talent.

He's also BR's first signing...the majority of bigger name players are only now returning from the Euros and getting back into serious business.

There's talk of Joe Allen, even if it's bullshampoo, we clearly have ambitions above and beyond the last few years.

Calm your jets, one signing doesn't dictate how the rest of the transfer activity will play out.

No clicks to the rag....

ZINEDINE ZIDANE believes Celtic’s new bhoy Moussa Dembele is a French superstar in the making.

The Real Madrid boss and three time winner of FIFA’s World Player of the Year also insists the 19-year-old is in perfect hands to fulfil his potential under Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers.

Zidane hailed the striker’s arrival at Celtic from Fulham on a four-year-deal as coup after beating some of Europe’s biggest to Dembele’s signature and he’s adamant the teenager could blossom into a megabucks asset for the champions in the future.

He said: “Dembele is an exciting player potentially for France, he has already shown what he is capable of.
He is a very big singing for Celtic. I like to follow the progress of exciting, young, French players, and I know that Bayern, Monaco and Juventus were all looking at him - so it really is big that Celtic managed to sign him.

“I think it’s a good move for him, he needs first time football, to develop the skills he already he has and I think he will get that at Celtic. He is still so young, he can look at another move in four or five years time and still then he will only be a very young player.”

Dembele, who scored 17 goals in the English Championship last season, has already declared his intention to become the best striker on the planet during a confidence laced unveiling at Parkhead last week.

First on the agenda will be to hammer down a first team spot under Rodgers and Zidane is convinced the Celtic gaffer has a proven track record at developing young talent at Liverpool with Manchester City’s £50 million man Raheem Sterling and Sunderland’s Fabio Borini just two examples.

Zidane is in no doubt that Dembele’s move to Scotland will accelerate his progress with the chance of regular games and working with a manager who can take his game to another level.

He said: “For now he has a chance to play for a club who are always challenging for the title. who will be playing Champions League Football, and for a coach who has played a big part in developing some of the best strikers currently in Europe.”

Yes, but does Zidane have a Fulham supporting mate? If he did I'm guessing his view would be somewhat different.

How did the big man play tonight?
Showed some good qualities but rusty and should have done better with a couple of chances.

Certainly not like Amido's first outing in Germany... :twitch:

Looks decent. Only a matter of time before he buries a couple of chances.
