I know the market in England inflates every player's price but based on his age, his time at Fulham and his first season with us, how much do you think he is genuinely worth?

Express and Star are owned by the same carrot Richard Desmond - They know nothing as far as Celtic are concerned.

I think he is here for another season but do have a niggly that worry not qualifying for the CL Group Stages may move the goalposts on that take from the powers that be point of view as there undoubtedly will be offers to test the water.

If an EPL club comes in for him then it's about £30m due to his potential, his CV, his scoring in the CL and the time remaining on his contract. And the sheer volume of money swirling around in that league.

Any other club coming in for him will have to work on the basis that EPL clubs will pay that £30m.

If there is zero interest from England and only French, German, Spanish or Italian clubs are bidding it might be a little bit less due to the market being a little more sensible - although not by much.

Brendan is on record as saying that he fully expects Moussa to be here for another season and then be sold at the end of the season.
I know that it would be very difficult to turn down a crazy offer but Brendan did say that he wouldn't be going anywhere until after the CL qualifying was over.
Unfortunately though it's not Rodgers, Lawwell, or even Desmond who gets to decide.

If a big money offer comes in and Dembele wants to go then he'll go regardless of the preference of the manager, board or anyone else at the club.

That's part of the deal we have with players using us as a stepping stone to the big time - whether it's explicitly written in to the contract or just implicitly understood by both parties, the arrangement is that when a big move that suits the player and delivers us a healthy profit is on the table we don't stand in the player's way.

I don't think you'll get zero interest from England judging on the past 7 months as they'll all be terrified that they're missing out on the next big striker with the physicality and presence to make it in the EPL. Not to mention how savvie he is already with marketing and social media - they'll see another revenue stream immediately. If Marseille or any European club come in for him you can be sure that somebody in England will throw their hat into the ring.

Looked off the pace tonight, still a tad rusty. 9 times out of 10 he finishes that one on one.

Getting on a bit

All he needs are a few more games against teams with a bit more ambition than just avoiding a hiding
If he stays and stays fit all season he will score 50+ goals for us, the bhoy is a Rolls Royce of a striker!

He's getting better. Finishing has been off in the last two games but his touches to bring other players into the game is improving. When he's a bit sharper he'll be unstoppable.

Didn't score against Red Imps last season either. Seems like a slow starter. Hooper was the same. Always seemed to take him a couple of games to get sharp again.

Think they're both naturally lazy. Not complaining, but I did see that Roberts and Tierney agreed Moussa is the worst trainer at the club.

As I just mentioned in the post-match thread, Dembele looks much like he did at this time last year. He showed flashes of ability last night, but it's not quite clicking for him yet for whatever reason. I'm not concerned about his form at the moment as I'm sure it'll come soon enough. Preferably in the form of a couple of hat-tricks against Rosenborg.

He missed the last 6 weeks of last season, so its understandably going to take him a few games to get up to speed. Hopefully he'll be ready to bang in a couple next week.

Looks overweight and needs to get back to match sharpness. Had a long-ish injury so will take a few games.
