there is a scandal over the takeover was a really good article on it about the debt Milan are in. The Chinese owners who borrowed 250m from an American hedge fund to finance the deal. AC Milan have to pay back 300m by 2019

There are serious questions about the origins of the owners money, but they've just shelled out for Kessie from Atalanta and he'll have cost a lot, as well as Musacchio from Villarreal. They have money but if I was Peter I'd be asking for it up front.

They haven't shelled out for Kessie yet. He's on a 2 year loan with a guarantee that they'll buy at the end of it.

Atalanta aren't complete morons he's not joined them for free. The structure of the deal may be different but they were looking at easily over 20 millions euros for any kind of move, with Roma and potentially Man City interested. This suggests a bit of money has changed hands.

MD and his agent seem switched on with regards to his career development. Given Moussa is unlikely to be short of suitors I'd be very surprised if either view Milan - a club enduring significant transition - as the best place for him to progress.
