Fair enough.

Thought KT had missed nearly 3months?

:ponder:
Dembele barely figured until the hat trick v huns day, and was then injured in December and again now so probably out for around the same amount of time.
The game against the Huns was our 4th league match of the season, his 4th league match of the season, and in it he scored his 5th, 6th, and 7th goals of the season.
But yeah, prior to that match he'd hardly featured.

Calm down. The poster was talking about league minutes played compared to KT. He rightly said MD hardly featured before the first huns game. This is correct as LG was first pick with MD coming on as a sub until LG got injured in the run up to the huns game.

And for the record I think MD should've won the YPOTY award no question.
Being a top CF at his age is a far greater achievement than being a top full back.

When Harry met Moussa: 'Not even Henrik Larson managed that'

CELTIC hat trick Legend Harry Hood and Hoops striker Moussa Dembele got together for the first time at the launch of a new Scots bar.
Moussa who is in talks about transferring it a premiere league club down South was invited by Harry and his family to the launch the refurb of restaurant bar and hotel Angels in Uddingston. The venue now  includes a hotspot called Harry's Bar.
Glasgow born Harry, now 72, played for Celtic for seven years during the 60s and 70s and was capped for Scotland. He scored a hat-trick in an Old Firm game against Rangers in 1973, a feat that was not repeated until Moussa also achieved it earlier this season.

Both men were in their element as they basked in one another's glory.
French born Moussa, 20, said of their meeting : "I was very happy to meet legend Harry Hood."
In an Instagram post tagged Big Meeting Alert' where Moussa said 'Today was a good day' he told fans that Harry had said to him: "What you did that day will stay in Celtic history forever. You are part of Celtic history, you are a Legend of the club. You can be proud of yourself. You did what no one managed to do, not even Henrik Larson."

MOUSSA DEMBELE has vowed to lead a new and improved Celtic charge on the Champions League next season.

And that is music to the ears of Hoops fans who fear the star striker could be sold in the summer.

The 32-goal hitman, fighting to be fit for the Scottish Cup Final, is being tracked by a number of English Premier League sides.

If any of the big guns come in with a massive bid it might be difficult for Celtic to resist.

But 20-year-old Frenchman Dembele has his sights set on taking the Scottish champions to loftier heights in Europe next season after relishing his first taste with the glamour group clashes against Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach.

He said: “When you are young you watch the Champions League and want to play in it.

“When you do it, especially at my age, it is like a dream. It was everything I hoped it would be.

“To come up against great players was a great learning experience for us.

“It was good to compare ourselves to the top clubs.

“We have seen what we have to do to get there and we will work hard to do better next season.

“The manager knows what he has to do to make the team better.

“We will be better prepared. We have played a whole season together and have done great. Next season will be better, although I can’t say it will be easier.

“One thing is for sure, we have improved this season and are now a better team.”

Dembele has been sidelined for the past three weeks with a hamstring injury, but he is hoping to recover in time to face Aberdeen in the cup final at Hampden on May 27.

He added: “I have learned a lot this season and I will keep learning until I finish playing.

“I have enjoyed living in Glasgow. You can see that with my performances on the pitch.

“It was tough at the beginning because you don’t know the city, but I have got to know Glasgow and it is a nice city to live in.

“I want to play in the cup final, but it is not up to me.

“It is up to the injury. I have to take my time and not rush back. If I make it then I will be happy.”

:hmmm:

well Moussa got selected at the first mordor game in december even though Griff was in much better form

Hmm seems he's unaware that the MSM has already said he's leaving. Wonder why he's constantly talking about next season then?

If he's fit enough, he'll be on the bench. If we are winning comfortably enough, then I doubt he'll be coming on.

If he's here for next season, then I'd rather he was 100% fit for the CL qualifiers.

Magin being 1-0 down in the Scottish Cup final, 70 mins in, looking for an equaliser. You think you have Griffiths in your back pocket, then Dembele comes on. eff that, they'd say. eff that!
