no update yet a bit worrying, boss mentioned scan
Would be astounded if he wasn't out for the rest of the season.
Likewise. Looked bad immediately.

As long as he's back for CL qualifying round 3 I'm happy.

No, but a hamstring injury very rarely heals in a month.

Depends on the extent.

Roberts pulled up against Astana and was back playing three and a half weeks later.

Sinclair was the same after pulling up badly against Barca.

Forrest went off against Man City and was back in action two and a half weeks later.

Dembele looked pretty bad and it might be he's out for 6-8 weeks, which would be a shame but not disastrous. If it was only 3.5 weeks he'd be back for some game time against Partick Thistle and Hearts ahead of cup final. Not wanting to get hopes up but there is a not unrealistic chance he could still make it depending on the scan results

Personally I wouldn't be bothered if he missed the final and was fit for the qualifiers. We surely have more than enough without him to see of Aberdeen.

That has to be the bigger priority ultimately. If he's not fully fit in time for the final, we shouldn't risk him aggravating the injury and possibly missing pre-season or even worse the qualifiers themselves.

If we should lose the final to Aberdeen, it won't be because Moussa Dembele didn't play.

Aye. Dare I say it, Armstrong or Boyata or Jozo would be a bigger loss

You would be in a tiny minority that wouldn't be bothered.

All depends on whether it's a tear, a pull or a strain. If it's the first, he's no chance of making the final.

Well, all pulled muscles are technically 'tears', but it's the degree in which they're torn.

Shame he had to go off. Can't be many who have scored in every cup game in a season.

I reckon he would have as well.

I don't think we played quite as well when he went off partly to do with how long it took to get his replacement on, and partly down to Griffiths not being a like-for-like replacement and slightly altering our pattern of play. He looked 'on it' which you can normally tell with him in the early part of the game.
