His second goal today reminded me of Henrik v Valencia.
Henrik's was a quality finish. You'd have been disappointed if Dembele didn't score that chance.

They were both goals, I suppose.

Can't see anyone else being a figure and player like Henrik again.

Love that we have Dembele and hope he does it

The Mirror via the BBC gossip page have him linked with Arsenal. The Sunday mail, part of the mirror group tell us about an ibrox revolution.
Moussa is too good for Arsenal. Like Henrik, he's intelligent, and will stay at Celtic as long at it's good for him. I think he'll leave after retaining the European Cup for a record fee.

Absolutely perfect technique, as usual.

Long way to go for Moussa but if he continues improving the way he has been, he could be at Henrik's level at his peak. The game looks easy to him.

Henrik has been gone for 13 years. There's a generation out there, including loads on here, that either never saw him play or were too young to appreciate him.
Well that's me feeling like an auld bastard. Cheers Joe.
Right there with you man :(

The KOKs was one of a kind from another world. Times have changed & unfortunately, we'll never see if Moussa could hit such heights with us.

My take is just enjoy Moussa for being the player he is for however long we have him.

His desire to score yesterday was unreal. His third in particular showed he is the full package. Fingers cross he stays clear of injuries & he should be finishing the season with a treble & 40 goals.

That he is a big game player & a Hunskelper is the cherry on top. Another added bonus is how it eats the Huns up to know what he will do to them & how much he will eventually go for (thanks Timmy Media).

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepNever thought I'd see a better striker than Larsson at Celtic, but I think Dembele, at twenty, seems to be on a different level.
Ok let's reframe the argument. When did we last have a 20 year old as good as dembele?
Charlie Nicholas?
I would say Nicholas is the one that comes to mind also.

dembele - henrik, there can be no comparison. There will never be another like the KOK
This. Never again will we have a player of Larsson's ability stay with us for along as he did.
The fact he stayed faithful to us shouldnt even come into it.

For me they are different players but Henrik is still the best. Dembele may get there but Larsson was world class.

God I miss him :(

For me the 20 year old Nicholas was better than the 20 year old McStay.

Nicholas subsequently fecked up his career - McStay didn't but that said Dembele barring injury will go to a higher level in football than the two of them.

I think we will be lucky to hold onto him for another season.

Goals are king in the football world and although he is scoring for fun in the SPFL if he continues to score in Europe the interest in him will continue.

It'll probably not be down to just Moussa saying he is off but a combination of the price someone is willing to pay as too big for Celtic to refuse and too much of an interest for Moussa to turn down.

This will only come about under Celtic's terms, I'd imagine, once we have another striker in place or lied up and the promise that the money received will be spent on the team.

Those comparing Moussa to Henrik need to remember Henrik didn't have the physique of Moussa and would have had no right to play as a lone striker but his touch and movement allowed him to be able to play that role. He had the leap of a salmon too and he was stronger than he looked.

Moussa is only 20 and will obviously improve but there's only one KOK

Spot on it's my belief that Henrik, given his size and physique, was the best header of a football I've seen, the king :worthy:

His movement is just phenomenal.

For his first yesterday his ball out to Forrest was sublime, then he makes an explosive sprint from deep to offer for the return ball.

His hat trick goal was almost a carbon copy, lovely ball out to Forrest and yet again a fantastic run and positioned himself perfectly to meet the cross.
That's what the best strikers do. They effectively create the build up play for their own chances. He's just wonderful.

I'm probably a bit older than you (1t match 1963) and I've seen a few who were brilliant in the air -Size and physique doesn't really come into it but in my opinion
no-one anywhere comes or came close to Henrik's wonderful heading ability.

An absolute one off!!

Yep, Henke's goal was from a much more difficult angle. There was only one small target he could hit in order to score and he found it.
