Think he's chasing signing number 2 of 4...?
Is he ? I think he's trussed up in a cupboard somewhere whilst Dermott & Brendan raid the Biscuit Tin !
Well I hope he is " Carpe Diem " Brendan ! :rocker:

Called it earlier, where's my KDS credibility points? Have I levelled up yet?
Headline says Roberts persuaded me to join, quote says his mind was already made up.

Superb signing.

As a season ticket holder for 6 years at Fulham I have seen a fair bit of him. Pace, power, direct but also with a good bit of skill he has all the tools. To be a top class striker. Although he is built like a tank his hold up play is not the best however we always played two up top so it didn't need to be.

With the exception of a six week window when he didn't get his move to Spurs (and was a moody teenager) he was outstanding last season and a massive loss for Fulham, luckily my second team.

To put it in context, very few were concerned when Roberts left as he did not really achieve anything in the first team. Everyone was gutted about Dembele leaving. Someone I worked with had very good links to the club and could not speak highly enough about both Roberts and Dembele with regards to thier maturity and how down to earth they were.

Good thing Chic Charnely is retired and Hibs aren't in the SPL then.

Apparently Fulham were concerned that if they sold him they might get relegated. He was a bit peeved and his form dipped for a few weeks after this.

Fulham wanted him back on loan for the rest of the season, Spurs said no.
Now he's a Tim

I admit I've never seen him play or even heard of him but still pleased - seems like quite the coup from those in the know.

If you told me a couple of months ago we would sign Rodgers, ship out cole, ckr, stokes and scepovic and sign a very young promising and sought after striker.......I would have told you no chance.

Credit where credit is due.

Terrific signing but still think we need another striker, an older fella preferably. At 19 I think he's a bit young to be expected to play every week and not experience that dip in form young players always have. Depending on how things are going at the time that can be a hard thing to get through for any player.

PS

When I say older I mean mid-20's. Not Sevco 'I remember Nam' older.

was chatting to a fulham fan on twitter and he was saying much the same as kevins above. he is gutted that he has left especially for peanuts but thinks at celtic given games he will develop into a top player. i think we will play 4-3-3 with roberts-griff-dembele up with rogic one of the 3 in midfield
