Just keep him, sick of us lifting our skirts the first time an English side looks sideways at one of our players
Show a bit of ambition by keeping a decent side together for a couple of seasons

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Was cool as eff taking a high pressure penalty. I don't know who else in the team at the time would've had the baws. Astana was it? I can't mind.
Griffiths took the first one right on the stroke of half time. He would have taken the second but for the fact he'd been subbed. Moussa is a brilliant player but there's plenty of others in the squad who have shown they're willingness to stand up and be counted.
 despite it being well publicised that Dembele is the penalty taker when he's on the park.

It's OK but leigh is a good player don't worry. :there:

And Griffiths was still on the park when Dembele took the penalty...

If and when he goes, it won't be to West Ham. They sell to us, not the other way round.

Dembele won the penalty and no way was anyone getting the ball off him. Even after Astana going mental he was cool as eff. Amazing composure from him.

Just checked today's BBC Scottish gossip column. You'd think the story about our striker and a potential (by far)Scottish record transfer fee would be the headline and lead story? Nope. Lead story is the potential no mark's loan signing to a 4 year old club. Moussa story is the 6th story down. BBC still employing hurting hun bassas I see.

Excellent. In that case we'll have Payet and Kouyate.

griffiths was still on the park and flicked the ball on for dembele to win the penalty.

dembele was first choice penalty taker from the first game this season. when we were awarded a penalty at home to lincoln he was hitting it before the linesman said the foul was outside the box

So he did. I remember his post match interview now. Point still stands though. There's plenty of guys in our squad willing to take responsibility in the big moments.

While Rodgers will no doubt be fully aware of the financial realities of even a big club like Celtic playing in a league like the SPFL, he'll not be keen on cashing in on one of his star players just yet. At the moment, we don't need the money. The time to be concerned about losing Dembele will be in the summer, if CL group stage qualification is looking ropey.

The club surely will not want to piss off the best manager they've had for a decade by selling his team from under him, particularly in light of the improvement and success he's brought so far (along with the bigger ticket sales that brings). Dembele will be going nowhere any time soon - unless he throws his arse in the air and demands a move, in which case we might as well get shot of him. I don't think that'll happen, though.

Ah, Silky Stuart Slater.

A Celtic legend in that very few people ever saw him play and memories of him are very vague and often inaccurate.

What this man ^ said. It's been nauseating to read umpteen pages of fans salivating over a transfer fee which would mostly be banked rather than spent on players, for a player we have needed for years yet has only been here half a season.

I buy my season ticket to see the best possible team on the park. Team sheet before balance sheet. After years of unnecessary, Lawwell-imposed austerity in which we have witnessed a steady stream of outstanding talent leave the club after at least 2 seasons, to the detriment of the team, I expect the Club - and my fellow fans - to show more ambition than to let any player go after half a season. 2 seasons minimum.

As and when he does leave, he really wants to be looking at a better team than West Ham, if he kicks on with us.

The Stuart Slater who was formerly represented by Liam Brady and sold to us on the strength of a cracking goal against Everton? There's plenty on here who remember his mediocrity as a midfielder. Berkovic was a legend compared to him.
