That's the only thing I can think of, tbf.

Or we could hide his passport (but miraculously find it before every European away leg, only to lose it again).

"Moussa, you'll never believe it but we've gone and lost your bloody passport again. Sorry mate. We'll sort a new one."

Both him and his agent seem to have their heads screwed on right - I think ideally he'd stay here for another season after this one to keep developing before moving on. Going to any of the bigger clubs at the moment will likely see him spending a fair bit of time on the bench. However, the challenge is the fear factor, if some does come in for him - i.e. what if they don't come back in next year and what if you get injured.

Our record of improving and selling players is undoubtedly part of the reason why he's here: Forster, VVD, Wanyama. No doubt the Rodgers' profile helped too.

But aye, this is another feather in the cap of the club and the model.

Good stuff. The hard part is a) getting a few of these players in at the same time and b) being able to replace them when they're sold. We did well in Lennon's time to have Forster & Wanyama at the same time, but imagine if we'd had a Van Dijk in the same team as those two. Or imagine this year's team with players of Forster, Wanyama & Van Dijk's quality in it. That's what we need to be aiming for.

Last season's Southampton team had Forster, Wanyama and VvD in it.

It's a great point though, and particularly relevant to us given our model. You get a bunch of these guys in at the same time, a decent manager, and you're in Ajax 95 territory.

The difficult thing is getting them all at exactly the same time. Pick our best 11 from the past 7 years and it'd be a cracking team. But the players just turn over so quickly that the timing is absolutely vital.

I love how much the French media want him to do well.

If he were an English/Welsh player we wouldn't hear the end of 'He couldn't score that amount of goals in League 1'

Can someone ask the GB to do a big Moussa display? I'm imagining one of his face but the eyes move and follow the ball around the park, or simply just fix on the opposition fans at HT.

Thanks lads, looking forward to seeing it.
