What a beast for a 20 year old. Match that with his footballing attributes and he has the potential to be a special player
What I'd imagine a young Drogba to be like.

Drogba only became a good striker at around 25 and then proceeded to get better with age. Moussa is 5 years ahead of him already. :rocker:

I would like to know why people are so adamant he is leaving at the end of the season. The kid himself has said he is happy here and wants to be at a CL team to help his development. If teams are sniffing about just now and offer us £20-25M after one season how much are we going to get when he starts hitting top gear?

Calm down and enjoy him but I do think we will get 2-3 years out him.
We will most likely get a few bids for him next summer. If a bid came in over 15m or so, I think we would accept it.

He's some player.

To think some people said he wouldn't score 20 goals this season

15mill as a stud fee maybe.

He seems a smart bhoy, 2 seasons with us and he'll have his pick of top clubs.

It'll interesting to see if he gets a call up this month.

I thought that last night he was poor for the first 60 minutes or so, purely as his first touch let the ball run away from him. In the last third of the game, he showed how good he can be and was unlucky that the Portuguese ref gave him nothing when he brushed off their defenders with ease. Excellent composure for the penalty.

The bidding should start at 15m. It would be great if we could get 20m+ for him. He is the real deal.

Real deals don't go for a mere £15-£20M old chap :i_say:

13.5mill for VVD and he was poor in the CL, Dembele has 3 in 4 games, he's already worth more than VVD. Another year and and half and he will go for an absolute fortune.

 Clearly we are going to be tested in the summer but this boy is going to be worth much much more to us in 2-3 years and Lawell will know that.

If someone comes in with an absolutely crazy offer of £30M+ it will be tears all round but I just get the feeling he wants 2-3 years here. That's his plan. After that it will be blank cheque time and naming our own price.

He's on a 4 year deal so the end of his second season is when we'll think about selling, we're under no pressure to do so before that

He was superb last night absolutely superb

His hold up play and turning especially on left when he held off 3 and drove through only to get non-existent foul v him was spectacular and will have been noticed by all the big clubs

It's all in his hands - all we can do is invest in the first team to make him feel as if there is an opportunity to do even more next year and continue to make him feel celtic is home

Ideally we'd get next season out of him and a massive fee - can't see him with us for longer than this and next season but there'll be some youtube video by the end of that :worthy:

Ragdolled a good number of them last night. The Drogba comparison is valid. Pace, although not absolutely lightning quick, and sheer upper body strength.

It goes without saying but already, the chances of success in next year's European campaign become significantly better if he is still here for it. We must get a minimum of two years out of this lad.
