Sounds like a flyer fae whichever paper printed it, or some agent talk to get client more attention, as it states he would qualify through five years residency next year. Considering not all those years would be in England and the Home Nations gentlemans agreement wants 5 years residency before the age of 18 i think this is bullshampoo.

He'll play for France.

I doubt he'd want to play for England considering how gash they are.

It's going to be difficult to beat the AC Milan keeper as it's a vote in an Italian paper/magazine. It's going to get a lot of publicity over there.

The prize was established by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport in 2003. Newspapers that now participate in voting include Bild (Germany), Blick (Switzerland), A Bola (Portugal), l'Équipe (France), France Football (France), Marca (Spain), Mundo Deportivo (Spain), Ta Nea (Greece), Sport Express (Russia), De Telegraaf (Netherlands), and The Times (United Kingdom). Each juror is allowed to nominate five players, the juror will allocate 10 points to the player that they perceive as the most impressive, 7 for second, 5 third, 3 fourth, and 1 point for fifth most impressive.

Voting is spread over several newspapers and we're only rigging voting in the Tuttosport one. Does that not mean it's pretty pointless?
