First goal just bounced off him and he totally sklafed that overhead kick. Still not convinced he'll handle the pressure of the really big games.
Fecking hell.

I like the big man. Thought his barny with Brown after his lazy pass cost us possession and the goal was another we glimpse of his arrogance. Then again maybe brown shouldn't have called him out, he's only 19 after all.

He'll be gone a lot sooner than people think IMO.
I think Broony could have won that ball. He hesitated. I still think there is a lot of work for City to do at that point. Silva has to pick out a great ball and Sterling takes two players out the game.

Man City didn't know how to handle the big fella
Won nearly every long ball to him, cracking game

Funny watching there keeper looking at the replay of his overhead kick on the big screen behind him straight after it, was some goal :rocker: :rocker:

I'd like to start with two strikers in Scotland. Not because we 'should' but because I want them both kept happy  and we're good enough to disrupt our system and still be miles ahead.

Thought him and Brown were equally at fault for the goal - the pass was made to look shorter than it was as Brown was on his heels. Ah well.

The best striker at the club. Young, strong, composed, technically sound, a calm finisher and a big game player. What's not to like?

When he goes, the starting price should be 25m
Absolutely. None of this £10M and we're happy pish. The clubs in England are spending £50M on shampooe like Stones and Sterling, an utter fortune for Pogba. Dembele isn't on their level, but if he was playing like this for Crystal Palace, they'd be getting bids of £30M left right and centre

A lot of people did say that despite his goals we needed someone better than Griffiths for the Champions League.

I thought that was unrealistic given our budget. But we've got him.

What a player, he has everything you could want in a striker. The guy will reach the very top.

I'll need to see it again but my opinion in the ground was that it was Rogic's pass that caused the problems. He should have held on to it and drove forward and his pass was behind Dembele so he had to turn back into danger and was forced into the pass. Could be way off here as I say - will need to see it again.

Agree with this; Rogic had more time than he thought because the City player going to close him down slipped, but he tried to move the ball on quickly and gave Dembele a problem, who passed it to Brown

Third goal is also from a series of errors. It's just as John Collins said: mistakes at this level get punished in a way that domestic mistakes don't. ;)

How can you blame Rogic ffs? Dembelle had a far easier pass open to him than Brown. Not sure who it was who's facing him but rather than just lay the ball back, he passed to Brown who has an opposition player right on his shoulder. It was a poor decision that cost us.

That being said, he did exceptionally well last night. I love the fact that his self-belief is clearly off the charts. I hope it lasts for as long as possible because at his age he's going to have a dip in form and confidence at some point.

Rogic should have carried the ball. He played a piss-poor pass to Dembele who, in turn, played it to Brown who maybe should have done better. Team fault.

The two are separate issues. The goal had nothing to do with Rogic.

However the space had opened up in front of him and he released it too quickly (and behind) Dembele taking the momentum out of our attack. That's all it is.

Edit aye maybe clustereff covers it

We better get top dollar for him if/when we punt him in a season or two.

I'm talking start the bidding at 15 million.

In the meantime, we get to watch him become one of the best young players in Europe.

Hopefully we can keep him until summer of 2018. Be good for him and us.

At that point he will likely be the first 15m+ player to go from Scotland.

So much better than Griffiths it's untrue.

Lets have a pop at Griffiths FFS

We will need to keep LG happy because if MD continues on current form his agent will be making calls.

His best performance so far for the Hoops - this lad is improving all the time.

He keeps this up and I can see clubs sniffing around him after Christmas.

Still quite shocked we managed to get this lad but overjoyed that we did.
