Moussa is starting to blossom as he finds his confidence within the team.
It must have been utterly intimidating for him at the start and, in his first few games, the nervousness showed.
He missed chances. His control looked poor. He wasn’t linking up with his teammates.

I watched Moussa closely yesterday. He took his goals superbly, right foot and left foot.
He had some lovely moments of close control and nifty footwork.
A couple of really powerful runs too.
Occasionally, though, he gave the ball away cheaply.
He also doesn’t take much part in the build-up play.

Bottom line is that he is a raw talent.
Power, pace, a nose for a goal.
A lot to learn about tactics, positioning and so on, but all the ingredients (at just 20) to be a sensational striker if he keeps listening, and working hard, and learning, and stays humble.
Right now, if we are playing one up front, wee Leigh is still first pick for me.
But Moussa is developing at a tremendous rate.
He has the potential to be a real star, there’s no doubt about it.
It needs a chorus.
and a wee key change for the last verse... a key change always works :)

Is anyone picking up the vibe from the other players that he might not be that well liked? or is it just me
Griffiths was on twitter saying that Dembele is on fire and he gets on well with Roberts which means he's probably KT's pal as well.

I have noticed that when he scores (other than in the derby) the other players don't all seem to rush towards him to congratulate him and likewise he also seems to be one of the last to go and congratulate the other goalscorers or maybe it's just that unlike most other teenagers he's not going off his nut when he scores and stays pretty calm and collected.....

however I do get the vibe that there is something not quite right, hopefully I am wrong.

Was he not the first to celebrate with Sinclair when he scored against the zombies?

If he carries on the way he is going, he will be off next summer for a fair few million, I hope not, but I think it's almost inevitable. Hopefully he will stick around for a few seasons though. Took a little bit of time to properly find his feet, but hasn't really looked back since the penalty against Astana, and the "perfect hat-trick" really launched his Celtic career. I think he and Sinclair offer Celtic's best chance of a result against Man City. Ironically enough, with everyone questioning whether Roberts would be allowed to play against City, he probably won't start and it's an ex Man City player, hopefully with a point to prove, who is Celtic's best attacking midfielder at the moment.

The idea that the team celebrates less when/because Dembele scores is just laughable.

Seriously where do some people get off?? :ffs:

a mental observation, to be fair.

I have noticed that when he suddenly changes pace and direction defences seem baffled. But you measure him by the number of friends he has on Twitter o
 r whatever ...

Probably because he didn't congratulate the defence when we went 1-0 down.
