If we do play 1 up front it would be difficult which striker to pick.Maybe playing 2 up front would be one solution.
Rotate?

Playing two strikers means you drop one of Forrest, Sinclair, or Rogic, which would be a bit daft given our current goalscoring form.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record. There is no need to change the formation at this time. We are averaging around 4 goals a game in the league.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Off the top of my head:

A guy got his knickers in a twist & said Moussa was like Fortune

Someone else said they would prefer to have Cifcti  in the team

A few posters said Moussa wouldnt get near 20 goals for the season

Another lad said we needed to buy another striker as Moussa couldnt be relied upon if Leigh got injured
I'm pretty sure someone said he was like a Pele as well
Outrageous comment.

I bet Moussa isn't an arsehole.

Things get said in the heat of the moment.

Let's just enjoy him while he's here because it won't be very long sadly.

That was me.

It was a joke right enough, but I made the critical mistake of not putting a wee laughing heid beside it.*

I do like him though and think he probably will be better than Pele if he doesn't get carried away with himself. (Pele himself said that recently in Glasgow.)

*I didn't really. I thought there would probably be some folk out there who would think it was a serious comment.

Weren't some people comparing him with Bangura and Amido Balde little more than a month ago?
In fairness most posters on here said he was still to find his feet but lots of potential.

Think it was obvious to most that Bangura was a dud after 1 game and to everyone after 2 games.

If you rolled Batistuta, Didier Drogba and Carlos Tevez into one you'd have something resembling Moussa Dembele, although you still wouldn't be close and would be good grossly underestimating his t Chicano abilit. I'm j
I agree J

Despite the goals it's probably his t Chicano abilit that has impressed me most
Was just about to come on here and post about his t Chicano abilit.

Moussa is starting to blossom as he finds his confidence within the team.
It must have been utterly intimidating for him at the start and, in his first few games, the nervousness showed.
He missed chances. His control looked poor. He wasn’t linking up with his teammates.

I watched Moussa closely yesterday. He took his goals superbly, right foot and left foot.
He had some lovely moments of close control and nifty footwork.
A couple of really powerful runs too.
Occasionally, though, he gave the ball away cheaply.
He also doesn’t take much part in the build-up play.

Bottom line is that he is a raw talent.
Power, pace, a nose for a goal.
A lot to learn about tactics, positioning and so on, but all the ingredients (at just 20) to be a sensational striker if he keeps listening, and working hard, and learning, and stays humble.
Right now, if we are playing one up front, wee Leigh is still first pick for me.
But Moussa is developing at a tremendous rate.
He has the potential to be a real star, there’s no doubt about it.

Is anyone picking up the vibe from the other players that he might not be that well liked? or is it just me

If that's true, then it needs nipped in the bud quicksticks by Brendan.

He's been huffy over a few things, but he's a teenager & was probably expecting to be 1st pick & penalty taker - rightly or wrongly.
