Be interesting to see if he can learn and cope with packed defences, less space and time. If he does then he will be some player for us.

Great goal last night.

He's great at taking chances like that and the the ones vs the huns. Seems really poor with chances when the ball is cut back to him though.

It's also slightly strange that for all everyone is saying he needs to work on his game against packed defences, all his goals have been at home.

there are times he looks like he is seeing a football for the first time in his life and looks out of his depth then he does something world class and you wonder where this guy has been . hopefully with teaching consistency will happen

Agreed. He struggles to finish with a ball going across him (as does Griffiths). The signs are he will learn. A real prospect.

8 goals in 14 games (9 starts).

Kept going last night despite missing a couple of good chances.

What a hit for his goal.

I think you are describing a different player to the one I've been watching.

Not enough aimless runs into dead ends and pathetic slide tackles to try and keep the ball in play after a woeful touch.

He's my favourite player at Celtic, and therefore my favourite player I suppose. It's his way off pushing the ball far ahead of him and still getting to it before his man that is just so different, and wins plenty of penalties and FKs. He is so direct; he's absolutely tailor-made for counter attacking football. If we'd drawn a reasonable CL group I reckon he'd get at least 3 goals. Might still though.

Can't see the game so can't give a running commentary on his performance. Just scored his second so don't know if he's having a decent game or not.
