Whilst it's been bad in recent times, it seems to have settled down. It was belting out yesterday.

Any chance they could put a decent wifi system into the mix when they're doing that upgrading? The present quality is lamentable.
Never even knew we had wifi. Never got any sort of signal.
Never mind light shows and wifi, how about a decent p.a. system? How do other big clubs manage their pa? can the announcements be heard in these super stadia? Any time there is an announcement or an interview with someone interesting on the park at half time it comes over as gibberish. Would like to have heard Tom Boyd the other night but it was hopeless. The only clear announcement is the police message before kick-off. This has been going on for years now, is an absolute bugbear. PA is getting sorted along with the lights

It's effing ridiculous in LL lower, pierces the ears it's so loud but you can't make out anything. I'm pretty sure my dad once did a decibel test and it was above 90dB. No reason for such a shampooty sound to be so loud.

I see we have a fanzone in place for Sunday's game. I wonder if it'll be selling pints. Link to Celtic website
Spoiler: click to toggle CELTIC Football Club are proud to announce that OUR FIRST EVER FANZONE at Paradise will take place this weekend as part of our celebrations to honour our captain Scott Brown, before his highly-anticipated testimonial match.
Thousands of supporters have already snapped up their tickets for this unique fixture, as Martin O’Neill and his Republic of Ireland XI take on Scott Brown and his Celtic squad which includes the one and only Henrik Larsson who will once again grace the Paradise pitch on Sunday, May 20 (KO: 2pm).
Opening at 12noon, the Fanzone (located at the North West side of the stadium) is the perfect place for supporters of all ages to meet up early, as they soak up the party atmosphere before kick-off. And for those wanting to continue the celebrations post-match, the Fanzone will be open for a further two hours after the final whistle.
Entry to the Fanzone will be FREE OF CHARGE FOR ALL FANS WITH A TESTIMONIAL TICKET, with live entertainment, music, free face painting, competitions and exclusive interviews with ex-players, as well as food and drinks stalls selling a variety of tasty treats and beverages to set you up before the match!
There will also be a kids' football fun activity area costing just £2 an hour per child, where young footballers can hone their own skills before watching the Bhoys in action!
The last remaining testimonial match tickets are available to buy now, priced £24 for adults and just £9 for concessions.
It’s an occasion not to be missed so don’t leave it too late to secure your place at Paradise!
BUY ONLINE & PRINT YOUR TICKETS AT HOME Visit eticketing.co.uk/celtic to choose your seats online and then simply choose the ‘Ticketfast’ option from the dropdown menu at the checkout to complete your purchase.*
You’ll receive your tickets via email to print at home, then simply scan at the turnstiles for entry to the stadium on Sunday.
Tickets are also available to purchase by calling the sales line on 0871 226 1888*. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 8pm.
Alternatively, visit the Ticket Office at Celtic Park, open Monday to Friday from 9:30am until 5pm.
Please note that after 2pm on Thursday (May 17), tickets for this match will only be available to buy in person from the Ticket Office and online when using the print at home ticket service.
There will be no matchday ticket collection facility available on Sunday, May 15.
Don’t miss out on what promises to be a brilliant day out here at Paradise – make sure you come along early to get the party started!

See the big bit of waste (aka contaminated) ground on the corner of London & Springfield Roads, why don't we and the cooncil build a multistorey car park on it?.

I take it the stadium inspection thing they are jizzing about on FF is a pile of crap since only they are talking about it? They seem to think it will put Browns testimonial in doubt?

of course it is The thread suggests that we spend the most in the country on stadium upkeep. Perhaps we do, but rather than that indicating our stadium will fall down, it may simply suggest they only cover the bare minimum.

A bit of scaffolding up at the junction of the JS and the main stand. It looks like they’ve removed the panelling. Any idea what’s going on?

With the cut in hun allocation, now would be the perfect time to redevelop the South Stand.
Take the capacity to 67000 with loads more corporate facilities in time for the 10.
