Club should consider laying on buses from the ground to the city centre after and maybe before the match, as transport links if you're not driving or on a supporter's bus are poor. If they even charged a nominal fee they could probably make a bit of money out if it.
Fergus started bussing us from Bellgrove but it seemed to fizzle out. :ponder:
Really effed me right off when polis stopped their presence at Duke St Station advising Celtic supporters to use Belgrove instead - only to satisfy those hun bastards in the Louden across the road from the station. Feckers used to wait till the train was pulling in and then fire bricks down onto the platform knowing we had to leave the cover of the shelter to reach the train. Trouble was apart from us, there was also ordinary every day punters, men and women, out doin there Sat afternoon shoppin. Hun cant's never gave a eff. Saw a few folk back in the day getting skelped by bricks and bottle from that scum - polis response - well yous better get off at the next stop, cause we're no policing this one anymore!!! :nono:

Always wondered if we have attempted to buy the properties on the corner of London Rd Springfield rd . The Chippy and Hadows bit . That whole corner site would open up the stadium and surely be prime for development.

could a hotel be built on the site of the superstore, as a high rise? Would perhaps spoil the view of the stadium from certain angles but planning permission should be easier

You'll probably find about 100 punters from Springburn get the train to and from Duke Street every home game. Never any bother. No carrot drinks in the Louden, apart from a few old pensioner huns.

A police presence is only required on days of hun games. Even then, they are usually Sunday and no trains are running.

Last night at the Etihad was very impressive. Walls and fences surround the whole complex which they call The Campus.

Must be a real money spinner as well, had a few pints at £4.

If you have all the food places and merchandise outlets , I'm sure it would generate a few quid.

They also had some live music, and a bit of tv interaction with the fans

Don't doubt that's the situation now, but like I said, back in the day was a different story.

1. Fix the dodgy letter on the Celtic Football Club 1888 lettering above North Stand
2. Fix the leaking roof above section 412, north east upper!!
3. Install a PA system which enables all of us to hear what is actually being said - I haven't made out a word for years, and nor has anyone who sits in our section
4. More staff on food and drink stalls
5. More menu options on stalls, above
6. That'll do until we join a bigger league and have to extend up to 85,000 capacity... (that was just three to check Dermot has read this far)

Especially in the toilets, it is effing terrible.

I sit in 440, and there are some drips coming off the scoreboard hitting the JS lower. They are about the size of baby elephants and move like bullets, I will wouldn't enjoy getting hit with them.

Would love to see something similar to what city do outside their stadium. A bar and a cafe, with a lot of entertainment space all within the stadium grounds. Although we shouldn't copy the city interior, a single door as an exit for all fans on L3 last night
