We'll need to get a photoshop of that in circulation which says Funding: Public We'd have to get popcorn in. It'd be fantastic.

Looks crap. Have to agree... hopefully it's the wee photo not doing it much justice, but it looks like a black pyramid attached to a roller coaster!

I'm more excited about the stadium concourse getting done up in that proposal, needs it.

Not CP improvements i know, but does anyone have a idea of when the 'Dome' will be built at Lennoxtown? and will it be a full size pitch...and grass or 5G etc?

Dakota hotel would make sense seeing as team leaves from there for home matches Our 2nd biggest shareholder is currently building a Radisson Red hotel beside the Hydro. That's the reasoning behind the previous guesses.

That thing will age like the facade on Celtic Park. Can't they do something a bit more timeless? is there anything you don't complain about? FFS , it's a modern 21st Century sports complex. Do you think any modern build football stadium/complex is "timeless"? It's entirely in keeping with The Emirates Complex on the other side of the road, and would look ridiculous if it didn't at least complement that building.
Celtic are aiming for something unthinkable even 10 years ago. Those of us whose memories extend to the dark days of the 60's and 70's coming to CP can barely believe what CP looks like today. After this development, our home Stadium complex will be magnificent. Credit where credit is due.

Check out the old thread about the London Road school. Lots of people claiming it was timeless and should be preserved at all costs. A similar number of people claiming it was an eyesore and should be demolished.

I get why they can't do anything about it (money) but the main stand could seriously do with being redeveloped. Compared with other clubs of our stature (outside of Scotland), it is quite poor

Regardless of the main stand we have the 6th biggest sporting venue in Britain. It's not that poor.

I have been on mod approval since April which seems a bit lengthy. Maybe if I got to post freely people would see more of my less moany posts. As it stands, I don't have control over which of my posts are published. Maybe that could be reviewed.

Looks like the board have finally accepted ancient Egyptian expertise with the pyramid shape of the new store. I'll be getting my razor blades from there in the future. Good work.

All paid for from the secret Vatican/Glasgow City Council slush fund creamed off from all the non Catholic city rates payers ( we obviously don't pay rates cos we're recipients of the secret refund delivered in the brown envelopes
