A few of the mulyins could also be devoted to getting a PA system that actually works. That said, it made the ongoans on the pitch at half time on Saturday even more comical given that in the auld git's stand they appeared to be a troupe of mime artisits.

Wtf was that on Saturday? Looked bizarre
Are we talking about those guys in the suits? That was awful.

Saw on twitter this morning (I know) that the hotel/museum building etc is estimated to cost £18m - that's a lot of money.
I really like the idea of the hotel and finding innovative methods to drive income but is there any danger of Celtic overextending ourselves in this project as Ken Bates did with Chelsea?

Wish they would spend some of our mulyins on a couple of uptodate TVs. My work has better in our conference room.
Rumour is we're getting new screens, similar to those at Hampdump......maybe even next season?
Might not be the case, we're currently trialing a new screen in the LL stand, i guess if that goes well we'll get the same one for the other side. We also order new add boards for around the pitch (only used in CL so far) and they cant be used due to being too tall and blocking the views of those in the first row and wheelchair users.

If the museum is anything like say Portos' (which is excellent) then it will NOT be cheap. Portos' (with 27 themed areas) must have cost a few million. And thats just the museum.

the hotel would only be built if a long term lease is agreed with the chosen operator, so it's pretty much self-financing.

It'll be the marquee/tent that they have to put up for Champions league games.

It's not a permanent feature.
it is https://twitter.com/celticparkevent/status/908644703989587969
That's pish. Even Tranmere Rovers have a chandelier. :nono:

Surely a hotel-chain operator is already tied up in a contract (subject to planning)?

Assuming this is already going through the planning process, that is.

Otherwise it wouldn't make sense.

Not sure Radisson Red would have two hotels in the same city, doesn't really seem to be their shtick.

I would 'guess' them also

I would agree with GLP's assumptions as well.

For the record, I'm not in any way ITK.

How many rooms would that hotel complex be? Looks small to me considering a museum , retail store, bars and restaurants etc are to be combined within it?

That thing will age like the facade on Celtic Park. Can't they do something a bit more timeless?
