Heard a wee suggestion we might be hosting some rugby games in the not too distant future.
Brilliant idea.

Then the GB can turn up, sing all the IRA songs they want, and the polis can't touch them.

Everyone's a winner.

We're back to lateral movement now
Laugh as much as you like, but the standing section is not designed to accommodate lateral movement. Do you accept that?
If it's not built for it then it shouldn't be happening or the section will eventually be closed. These things are quite simple.
As I said before the GB are taking liberties with their section. At some high profile games they have far more bodies in there than at run of the mill league/cup games. From my seat it's pretty clear when that happens. These are all things that will come back on them eventually.
Was Wednesday your first game?Have been doing lateral movement since opening of standing section. Has not been an issue.
Wednesday was however the first time police have had such a high profile in section.Standing on stairwell blocking the stairs.
My first thought on Wednesday that police had their overtime budget increased or were they getting in before the "Bill" gets scrapped.
Also first time at any game where visiting fans warrant more policing that they increase at section no where near visiting fans.

If we are looking to build a museum, we could do worse than going to have a look at Porto's. Firstly there are adverts all over the city for it. Secondly it's brilliantly laid out with sections on Club Presidents, managers, captains, their grounds, big matches, huge areas on their European & World trophy wins - yes the bit on 2003 wasn't easy - bits on memorable commentary and audio of their games as well as publicity abroad - when they made the front page of France Football or World Soccer. They also have a fans sections on what it means to support the club. It's also very interactive.

If you are in the city it's definitely worth a visit.

They've made changes to the setup for the stadium tours. They marquee at the front of the stadium is the new entrance/area where they show the introductory video. It has a small coffee shop setup as well. Looks like a more professional setup as well as having more spaces available on each tour.

The playing surface looked terrible when the camera's zoomed "close" to it against PSG. I know that it will be relayed/next step next summer, but it should be better at this time of year. If it keeps up getting worse then Motherwell away on a rainy/snowy day in December will be a nice pitch to play on compared to CP

No point in relaying the pitch until after the razorwire, moat and piranha have been installed.

They must have just changed this, as we did the tour last month and everyone basically just mulled about the front door until they came to take us inside.

There was no coffee shop setup either!

It'll be the marquee/tent that they have to put up for Champions league games.

It's not a permanent feature.

A few of the mulyins could also be devoted to getting a PA system that actually works. That said, it made the ongoans on the pitch at half time on Saturday even more comical given that in the auld git's stand they appeared to be a troupe of mime artisits.

Saw on twitter this morning (I know) that the hotel/museum building etc is estimated to cost £18m - that's a lot of money.
